The better nourished and the healthier you are, the more you will sense, feel, love, be happy, be kind, achieve, motivate your friends and family, and contribute positively to the world. But there are items which are so widely available that we end up not only including them in our own diet, but sadly also offering them to our children and loved ones. The right diet is a strong tool to prevent not just physical but also mental health problems. Just to illustrate the size of the problem, one in three people in the UK is expected to suffer of dementia. Research has shown that from 80% to 95% of cancer cases could be avoided through better nutrition and a healthier lifestyle. High quality information on how to avoid diseases cannot be found in the media, on the Internet or in books about vegetarian diets, but in material produced by specialized, competent and honest scientists. This is the only way to avoid becoming a victim of economic interests and misleading information. Scientists say that ‘Mother Nature’ is kind to the ones who respect her but will punish severely the ones who infringe her laws. Bad diet leads to illness and disease, giving you nothing but fear, anger and pain. A diet guided by honest scientific information should keep you physically and mentally productive, guiding you to paths of love, peace and happiness. The food we eat has a powerful effect on our body and energy. If two people follow the same training they will get different results depending on what they eat. A well nourished person will improve more quickly and build better quality tissues than someone on an average diet. If you decide to pursue lifelong good health then you should be ready to give up unhealthy habits and instead live according to your genetic requirements. A change in habits combined with self discipline will dramatically increase the way your body can perform and your mind can focus.

Linseed Shake

"Wherever a population adopts linseed as a regular part of their diet, their health will improve."

Mahatma Gandhi - India

The Linseed Shake is a homemade supplement that reduces stress, depression and schizophrenia (but must be combined with zinc and magnesium for better absorption). It also protects against cancer and hormonal imbalances. It helps keep cholesterol at an adequate level and controls the anxiety responsible for obesity and phobias.

Linseed shake recipe

  • 1/2 a lime (if organic use a piece of the peel as this is protective against cancer)
  • 1 Banana
  • 3-6 tablespoons of organic black or golden linseed
  • A cup of water

Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until the seeds are completely broken and it has a smooth consistency. If desired add a sweetener (only saccharin or honey).

Add any other fruits or vegetables (preferably organic), greens, roots (carrot, ginger, beetroot), sprouts and coconut water. Pineapple, papaya, mango and lime are recommended for better digestion.

Faster option

Grind 3 big spoons of linseed with ginger and a banana (or two) adding cinnamon, honey and lime juice. It’s fast, less hassle and delicious! I take it every morning!

The Linseed Smoothy should be taken on an empty stomach 30 minutes before meals for weight loss purposes and together or straight after meals to gain a healthy weight. It should be drunk fresh only and not kept for later as it oxidizes and becomes toxic. Bananas contain oligosaccharide, a fertilizer for the flora that helps with the production of nutrients and neuro endocrine immunological substances. We should not consume broken seeds or grains because the fat that they contain reacts with air and oxidises, leading to sclerosis. They should be kept in a dry and dark place. Do not soak the seeds as the fat that they contain gets out and oxidises, so that instead of bringing benefits to the organism it becomes toxic. It then irritates the gut causing a laxative effect leading to inflammation and diarrhoea with mineral loss. The linseed smoothie should be consumed within 15 minutes only after grinding and not saved for later neither consumed as powder.
